Hello/Intro KerryReturn to index of stories... |
Hello. I'm Beth Carroll. Welcome to New Hampshire Outlook. Democratic Presidential Hopeful John Kerry is back in New Hampshire -- which continues to be a show down state in the race for the White House. New Hampshire may only have 4 electoral votes - -but, that's the same number of electoral votes by which George Bush beat Al Gore in 2000. Since the 2004 race looks just as close, New Hampshire still matters -- which is why the state is still getting visits from Presidential candidates. Kerry was at the University of New Hampshire Monday -- to kick off his campus tour -- hoping to appeal to young voters. |

Complete with a Rock Band -- and cheering crowds -- the event had a pep-rally feel to it. Richard Ager is just back from the event at UNH.and is here with more on Mr Kerry's message -- and how it was received. Richard -- it certainly looked like a receptive audience? |
Q&A #2Return to index of stories... |
So, Richard, any dissenters in the group or was this just a love-fest? |
Q&A #4Return to index of stories... |
Monday's appearance is on the heels of a new Newsweek poll that shows Kerry leading the President by 7-points in a 2-way race. He leads him by 3 points in a 3-way race with Nader taking those 4 points. Richard, so is Nader a factor here in New Hampshire? |
